A brief introduction of Abe and this course.
Right now I am a second year international student at UCI and I am in the social science school. My major is QE(quantitative economics) and this major is to help us build a model to explain the trend of the future economics.
The goal of this wrtitng 39A is to help us improve our writing and reading skills like how to correctly summary an anticle or how to correctly find the main idea of the whole article. And our specific goal in this class is to discuss the standard of the beauty of the gender and the connection and the relationship between the gender role and the Disney films.
Basketball
I love playing basketball with my friends because I think this sport will help me get relax when I stressed out and it is a very good way to make friends.
Writing Experience
The last writing course that I took before 39A was AE 20C. AE 20C was focused on how to write a summary of an article. As a result of being in that class, I learned about how to summarize and how to paraphrase.
